BUSINESS GRANT

ARED provides grants to encourage business development and provide incentives for new business start-ups, expansions and the purchase of existing businesses within Altona/Rhineland.

The grant must be applied for within three (3) months of business start-up, expansion or change in ownership, and lead to one of the following key outcomes:

• The business will create jobs locally
• The business will add new services for the area
• The business will be able to acquire equipment to grow their operations
• The business will be able to leverage the funds to receive a working capital loan

Grant applications will be reviewed by the ARED Board. Approval of grants in whole or in part is at the discretion of the ARED Board.
